By Jane Mount

As bibliophiles, we've long admired the illustration work of Jane Mount, known for her "Ideal Bookshelf" images. Jane brings together themed collections of books and draws their spines in fun and whimsical arrangements. This fall, we asked Jane to portray Girls Garage's Ideal Bookshelf, a curated collection of books that speak to female power to physically build the world we want to see. Books include Roxane Gay's Difficult Women, Sandra Cisneros's The House on Mango Street, Melinda Gates' The Moment of Lift, our own book, and many more inspiring titles!
